Common Questions
Are your products available in my location?
Yes is the answer. We have a number of outlets throughout Australia with most covering our entire range to ensure you have blocks available to you with a minimum of fuss. While we currently distribute direct out of our warehouses in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth we have retailers carrying our products in Northern NSW/Gold Coast, Sydney, Hobart and Perth. This means our blocks are immediately available to most.
For remote locations we can organise the freight to all locations around Australia. The cost of freight cost naturally varies depending on your location and quantity. Most of our pallets come with either 112 or 128 blocks and weighs around 1 ton. The most cost-effective freight outcome is working to a full pallet or pallets as freight is generally charged by the pallet. The more blocks on the pallet the less the cost per block in transport.
How do I lay them?
We strongly recommend our blocks are laid by a qualified brick or block layer with raked joints in a standard mortar mix. Our blocks are made to 290 mm x 290 mm x 90 mm so we recommend you work to increments of 300 mm in calculating quantities and setting out your job.
In Melbourne we recommend Mogford and Glenn Bricklayers. Speak to Brad Mogford about your next job in Melbourne on 0412 449 590.
For projects in South East Queensland we recommend you get in touch with MG Brick and Block on 0402 669 293 or White and Ellaby Bricklayers on 0419 027 249.
What lead time do I need to allow for?
We carry stock of most of our range and pride ourselves on having our blocks available close to you our customers. Generally within a week is what we try and work to.
